Yamaha 225dx questions

I just bought this three wheeler and need some help It wont start with a battery hooked up normally but if i hook right to the starter it works checked the solenoid and it works check the switch on the bars and it works check the wires and one fuse for issues nothing any ideas? Any help would be Awesome

Welcome to 3ww.

Check and clean the connections, from the battery forward (don't forget the ground wire).

I have a cover but no internals, you need the whole thing?

if the ytm 200 pull starters swap over i got a comp. one
