83 200E Wont Crank

i replaced the casing after the chain broke it.
only thing i noticed is the neutral safty switch in the casing was a little cracked.
i believe that that can be bypassed.
but anyways i need some help before i start parting this thing.
it has fire at the plug.has fuel but will not pop off spudder or anything.
i checked the timming by getting the piston at tdc and the rotor in the cdi is pointing straght up.
i tried a known working spark plug.
what is keeping it from cranking if i have fire and fuel and the timing seems good?
makes no sense to me.

will it fire on starting fluid?

i used gas.sprayed some in the carb and then even put some in the spark plug hole .nothin.you think starter fluid will make it fire?

check valve's an do a compressen test

cus u need spark gas air to make a enigne work

Also check that the exhaust flows freely. Some times a mouse will make a nest, usually in the muffler part, and you wont be able to get it started for the life of you!

Awesome..ill do that a little later today.
maybe the valves arent working right.
thats the only thing it could be at this point
ill let you know if this is the prob.
