How much fork oil (84 250R)

Looking for the ammount of oil to put into each fork off a 1984 Honda ATC 250R. I looked in the manual on here, but it covers 81-84 ATC 250R, and the ammount given is for the 81-82 250R. Nowhere in the manual does it say the ammount for 83-84, and I know the 83-84 forks are bigger. Anyone know? Thanks a ton in advance, ---- Jon.

If you look in the service manual chapter 18 is an addendum for the 83-84 250R. You need 9.5 ounces.

old thread, I know, but I just discovered a typo in the manual. It says 280cc of oil or 2.5 oz. I think it should read 9.5 as stated by rdlsz24
