what kind of oil should I put in my 1985 ATC 110, and how often should I chane it?

im not sure what kind, but i change mine every 2-3 weeks

i change my oil every month, i use valvolin racing 50w works real good and i use it in all my bikes.

Where do you live? If it gets cold there in the winter, run a lighter weight oil like 5w-30. It's better for the motor and it will be a lot easier to start.
