Ive had the 200x for a very short time. Went to run after a month and it was hard to start. Seemed flooded so after cleaning the plugs it fired up.
However, while it iddled I noticed there is a leak from the carburator.

First, I found a hose with a crack, because when I turned on the fuel valve it started coming out w/preasure as the small hole was not dripping but taking a piss.
After I replaced the hose then I noticed gas was still coming out.
This time I found two hoses coming out of the carb but where not plugged to anything and vented to atmosphere and one of them was leaking the fuel, then stop and then leak again until fuel valve was shut.

Not knowing much about carburators or this one in particular; it is as if the carb is filling w/fuel when I open the valve and then it starts to leak the overflow out this hose.

Anyone have a good diagram of the carburator? The manual I have does not reference those two hoses that vent to atmosphere.
Anyone with carburator experience familiar with my fuel leak problem.
Thanks in advance!

I have a diagram of the carburetor.

Have you checked to see if your float was stuck or your needle is seating properly?

"Have you checked to see if your float was stuck or your needle is seating properly? "
Nope. As I have never done this before and not sure what to do. The manual I have is not detailed enough.
Is this easy enough were I can get some quidance and instructions and jump to it?
Is this something a rookie can take apart and setup properly? I have mechanical skills but no carburator experience.

Thanks for the diagram. Which manual is that from? Do you have the image file on the internet or somewhere I can dwnload it?

If its a problem caused by your float or the needle valve .. you wont have to *disect* much to check it out, or take care of the problem.

Once you have the carb removed .. take the 3 screws off the bowl and pull it off .. the float will be right on top (actually the bottom). The float is removed by pulling one pin (self explanitory) and the needle will come out when you pull the float off. If there is any obstructions where the needle valve seats it can usually be taken care of with a little carb cleaner spray(usually). Be sure to inspect your float to be sure there are no holes or cracks(any liquid in float is obvious indicater). When the float is installed, be sure its pushing the needle into the seat firmly when the float is in a horizontal (level)position. If the seat is clean, the float is operating properly, and the needle is in good condition, your fuel should shut itself off when the bowl is full.

This is also a good time to pull your jets out (all are exposed) one by one and spray them out with cleaner, and compressed air if possible.

I dont think I left anything out.
