View Full Version : Suzuki RV90 forks on 73 ATC 70

Will a 73 Suzuki RV90 frontend work on 73 ATC 70? Or is there alot of modification needed.

It will work,but you will need to modify the lower clamp.The shaft and bearing race from the rv90 will not fit the atc70,so you need to fit the shaft from a ct70,xl80 on the rv90 lovwer clamp.I think the atc70 shaft will be too short if you cut it.CT70 and xl80 is longer,easier to install.I have a complete front setup ready,not installed.Maybe I can took some pictures.Be sure to have the good rv90 setup,there is 2 model of front end.

All I know it is a 73 frontend. What is the differences in the two models.

what other parts do u have for trailprotrailpro rv90 i have a 74 rv90, lookin to restore it

On one model,the shock come with the lower clamp,and the spring are in it with grease,like older z50
The other model have standard telescopic fork,you can also use xl80-xl75 shock in those clamp,shock have the same diameter

I think both will work,but telescopic fork are a lot better....
