Found this on craigs list yesterday, went and picked it up tonight. It was'nt near as nice as the pics he sent me but i made him an offer and brought it home.My wife has already started calling it hers:crazy: .Its not in too bad of shape but it has a chunck missing out of the rear fender and a tear in the seat.has a little topend noise too.Hopefully all the red ones dont pick on it too bad in the garage tonite!

Hey racer....x
You have a good lookin 225dx there . I have one just like that in my shop needing restoration . I have already bought new yamaha sky blue plastic fenders , headlight , and found both of the side panels NOS on ebay along with a new sticker kit from yamaha topdog ( speedandsport).

Thanks guys! That makes me fell alot better knowing ill be able to get some new plastic ! I rode it for a little bit today and it seems to me that the clutch slips a little. The guy told me that he just changed the oil and put synthetic in. It just seems that synthetic oil wouldnt go to good with the clutches. does anyone know??

I would put the correct oil in it first and then adjust the clutch.
