Can i add some kind of security to my '83 honda atc 110

put a hidden toggle switch somewhere wired through your kill switch, so it wont run unless the switch is on

when I leave mine somewhere, I put it in gear, take out the spark plug, shut gas off, gas cap vent off, kill switch off, take the key out and once I even undone the coil. If anyone tried to roll it away I would have found out anyway. Not too many people would go rthrough that much trouble for my barely running big red at the time :lol:

I run a cable lock through a rear hub and the grab bar...

A thief is a thief and they'll do whatever it takes to get what they want.

I padlock the rear sprocket/chain with a large Master lock when I push the X outside while I work.

You could also install a switch anywhere in the wiring system that breaks the 12V side, and only you will know it's location - it could be placed in the air box.......:naughty:

I'd love to add a keyed switch to my 350x as I don't have a truck or trailer so friends always pick up my X and it sometimes stays at their house for a night or two and on one occasion someone rode it...I was not happy, they'd never ridden a 3-wheeler before and could have destroyed my OEM fenders or tank.....
