Drug home another yamaha!

Well I went to an automotive swapmeet to look for some hotrod parts and ended up finding a Tri Z! I dont know much about it, the guy said it hasnt been ran in 7 or 8 years. the thumb throtle housing is broken so ill have to find one.The rear caliper is just hanging buy the hose and the front brake dosent work.The kicker was in a box but i slid it on and it seems to have compression.Its also missing a few more small things like the nut for the swinger bolt .As soon as I get new cam chains in 2 of my 200x's this week ill tear into this thing and see what all it needs.

you got a good deal in that z looks to be all there except for chain.i would clean up the carb and rebuild the fuel pump or buy a new one and go from there

Good deal for 300! Have you ever owned / ridden a tri z in the past? It looks like a great starting point. Get that baby running and let us know what you think!

The chain came with it, was in a box, along with the sliders for it.I had one when I was a kid but it was apart when I got it and traded it off so I have never rode one.

cant ask for much more than to find a trike at a car swap meet, esp a tri-z for a great price
