so who else is hating life right now?

I have went through hell this past weekend. At first(Friday) I had a simple sore throat, okay no problem right? The next day(Saturday) I woke up and I can barely breath and swallow and the there is pool of saliva in the back of my throat. What a fun day that was, went to the doctor and tested for strep and she came back and said it came out negative and she sent me home saying that I am simply sick with a common flu(right). Now(sunday) I have a nasty cough with a sore throat and can barely swallow. I just now got antibiotics today because the walmart pharmacy said they could not recognize the doctor:crazy:. What a fun 4 day trip this has been for me. Anyone else sick?

yup. me too. thats why im awake at 5AM, and have been most of the nights this week. cant breathe, and cant sleep. ugh. I hope this dosent last much longer... HH

Well I just went thru my first round of sinus surgery with getting my septum broke, chiseled, and stinted. I do believe I have hit my top threshold for pain. No sleep last night and going in for round 2 this morning, for the sinus cavity scape and replace some stitches. So yes, I have to agree with you on this one....

We just went through the sore throat thing over the last couple of weeks. Starts out as a sore throat then moves to your head and chest. Last about 2 weeks.

I've heard so many bad things about Walmart's pharmacy that I won't ever go there or to Walgreen's. I'll gladly pay more to use a local pharmacy.

As for being sick, the wife got a nasty cold a couple weeks back. I packed on the vitamins as soon as she started showing symptoms. I got a little bit of a sniffle but that's about it.

yay, at least I am not alone. Whats funny is that I had to call twice to see if I could get my prescription. First time they told me that they had nothing there under my name, and the second time I called it magically popped up, go figure. This is after I tried to go pick it up. I've been sucking down ricola fruit flavored cough drops(got a 9 pack at costco for $7.95), niquil, and vitamins C & D. I think scott here has it the worst though.

Doc gave me azithromycin and prednisone.

Monday I hit the hosptial for Cyber Knife treatments (2nd time) at least it's not Kemo this time around. Haven't been able to eat for a week and just taking a sht is like childbirth..looks like it too....but I don't hate life cuz of it

Last week was the worst for me i had to put my dog down from cancer. It sucks once son and wife go to bed it so quite now.
