You don't know what rare is until you own one of those. Way rarer than a "atc tachometer" or short track tank kit. The only thing rarer, would be the blue rear fenders.

That fender is not,not not not oem,,,,,,, i knew it when i first saw it,,,,,, its not oem,,, the fender with the ridges on the upper sides only came out in 85 ,,,,,, the 83 was smooth some one is going to get ripped off big!!!!!!

Very Interesting, I wonder if honda ran the blue thru the newer mold....like running black thru the 250r tanks....seems they did things that didnt make sense at times.

you are wrong , those fenders are oem honda , the last run of blue fenders used the 85 mold but in the correct blue color , your right not exactley how they came on the bike in 83 but it is a nos HONDA fender , honda does stuff like this all the time . I know andrew very well he bought up all the remaining in the honda warehouse back in the 90s , they are legit ..

Hi Mike Thanks. Ok Boys Fender is HONDA OEM ... Not a fake I did buy honda out long ago . Please check out ebay listing ! The Part # was Superceeded ! Honda does this every day First part # came out was 61100-957-303 If you know about Honda Part # 61100- tells you ware part goes on bike 2nd 957 tells you Honda code of What bike Part fist was used on. 303 OK If anyone has Honda Fiche 303 is Blue code that that used for this bike! OK That Part was superceed by 61100-957-671ZC Real easy Boys. LOOK it up! OK 3rd Maeir fenders are VAC form NOT MOLDED like HONDA ! They are VERY THIN NOT like my honda oem! Also If anyone who has bought Maier blue fender knows there fender Color Blue is Not Even Close and is Paper thin, I have qty 4 of these fenders in stock ALL in HONDA OEM BAG still With Honda Dealer TAG look at listing, ALSO i do not srew anyone ! Kurt has bought one of these from me before Plus some other guys on this form. I have two of these atc70 blue bikes. I do understand what about top of fender ! BUT HONDA DOES superceed parts. I have bought one of these fenders before from Andrew, and the fender is legit. If you compare the fender to an 85 red fender the mold marks and such are all the same. I couldn't tell you if honda destroyed the earlier mold in some kind of accident or just discontinued the earlier molds use due to it being worn out, but all the marks and color are spot on. I've bought other parts from honda before where the parts numbers have changed and where there was some slight variation from the original part, but it is still an original honda part. This front fender is the same type of deal. Does it detract from the trikes value, I don't personally feel that it does. Its the part different from the original, yes and no for the reasons stated above. Is one of these NOS front fenders way nicer looking than a faded, melted or torn stocker, heck yes. Would I buy one, I most certainly did. Would I put it on my trike, gladly, but the trike is no longer mine. Would I purchase another to put on another trike, heck yes. If you can find the flat top 83 fender in blue, I would advise you to get it and share it with everyone on here. As for someone trying to swindle or misrepresnet a part, I've never personally had that experience in buying from Andrew. If Andrew had the rear fenders or any other part that I wanted, would I buy from him again. Anyday. I really didn't want to get involved in a thread where I would have to defend someones integrity on here that has sold parts on here to many other people. I don't think anyone has ever posted having a bad or unfavorable dealing. I know I never had one and my feedback for Andrew still stands from me that he is a reputable seller and a great guy to deal with. Some people complain about his prices. His prices are his business and I'll pay what I wish to pay for the items I want. And anyone on here knows that I have never tried to chisel them out of prices that they have wanted. Believe what you want to believe. You make the final decision to buy what you do or don't want. But don't rake a cat over the coals who doesn't deserve it. If you don't want the part, don't buy it. I just can't understand what the drama is all about.

Im convinced it's OEM Honda. It's the '85 style and looks exactly like my NOS OEM '85 red fender. The Maier fenders have a different look to them.

Hi Yes Honda Did this all the time. Same thing for QA50 First year Qa50 1970-72 did not have lines in fender they were smooth. Then is 1973 they had White fenders with lines in them for Deacls ! So what they did was use mold with lines in they to make Yellow, red, green ect. Also XR75 Same thing with side cover First years did NOT have Holes in them for plastic white back ground . So in the later year when you order Side cover they cam with Two Small holes in them They Just used newer Mold! Honda does this alll the time

Front Blue fender was sold But I do have two more i could sell. Going to keep one for my bike if i ever Get Mike from VMS to restore it.

I had a blue atc70 growing up dad sold it for like $50 bucks. I lots of fun on it. Never knew it was rare till now.
