Has anyone gotten the Dirt Wheels April issue yet. Just got mine today. Article in there about a family who found a ATC110 at Glamis, burried in the sand. Said they left it on the top of a dune. $10,000 finders fee for the first person to bring it back to me. LOL I'd be dammed, if I was 1000 miles away from trailer with a dirtbike, i'd found a way to get it back to save it. Can't find a link yet.

If the trike was left there, what happened to the rider? Maybe that'll be the next "treasure" uncovered :)

I found a 70 or 90...Don't recall which now at a place called Beverly sand dunes in Eastern WA.. It was real far gone and had likely been buried for years... Was about 1/2 exposed...I left it too...Not much there to work with....though I probably woulda taken the 110 home with me.... It looks in better shape..

This is how all baby Hondas are birthed into the world. This whole time you guys thought they came from a manufacturing plant in Japan.

Except for maybe the posa rear rack, I don't really see any old school goodies on it, just stock. Not even sure, but the frame is probably stock.

I have heard of people leaving bikes at our sand dunes in Utah but, I can understand that after 8 hours of dragging an air r from behind the mountain. What a pain. I would do it again though. It would be interesting to hear the story behind who left it there. Wonder if they (the finders) would have left an r, or x there?

Youtube video response:

It looks like someone turned it into a GEO CACHE. For those that are unaware of what GEO CACHE is, it is like a GPS scavenger hunt. Pretty fun to do and it is world-wide. You can go to websites and find local caches around you, or travel to find other ones. My family and I have a great time doing that. Cool article and thread!

Now that there's a geo cache on it, somebody is going to rob that aftermarket frame.
