So I busted up my oem 350x fenders this week at the dunes. I know how to plastic weld and I have plenty of busted up Honda fenders to use as welding material. My only question is, if I plastic weld my breaks can I sand them, weld them, sand them, sand some more and polish them and make it look like nothing happened? I just would like some opinions before I destroy my fenders worse. I can zip tie or fishing line or steel wire them up but I would do that only if welding them wont make it look oem again.
If anyone has a nice set of oem ones or black maier ones they wanna sell I would be very interested. :naughty:

Maier still make them, why don't you just buy some maier ones?

repairs to fenders never look good, they always have that half-arsed look about them.

You said you have others. Could try it out on a real junk one and see how it turns out. Then if its doesnt you havent wrecked them.

That's a good call never thought of that, I'll have to see how it turns out. Thanks for the advise.
