Havn't seen a thread on this and hope it in the right place, if not please move it.

So, were do you like to buy your parts from? OEM replacment, NOS, or hop up parts. Sounds like eBay and craigslist are big ones. Ill be needing maintance parts, brake shoes a new brake cable. Id rather not deal with ebay, or any joeshmo over the internet. A buddy told me about Beatris Cycle, hes had good luck with them, prices seem good and he says fast shipping. Any of you guys dealt with them? Any body on here run a store? How are the Honda dealers at getting parts for these old bikes? i have a Holeshot Motorsport just down the road. But id rather give my money to the guy thats running the store out of his house shop and eats, sleeps and breaths trikes then some big corperation.

I get alot of my parts from my Honda dealer. They have helped me alot and don't charge me any shipping. They are a bit more expensive than some of the aftermarket places but the parts are OEM Honda parts.

My Honda dealer is useless. They are more concerned about asking me retarded question about why i ride a trike and not a quad. I just stopped going in there. I source everything out locallyish, makes for some long searches....

bikebandit.com, denniskirk.com and servicehonda.com are good sites for OEM parts and aftermarket parts and accessories.

Bikebandit.com i only use a dealer if i only need 1 thing, but normaly i just wait until i need a bunch of things and order as much as i need for the $7.95 shipping.

if i need bigger items like rotors shocks or rims or plastics im buying on ebay.

i also use a ACE hardware store to buy all OEM style bolts washers, nuts and lock nuts, arcon nuts, master links, c-clips...etc. if its a speical bolt i cant get then i order it on bike bandit. but most times i can replace 90% of the hardware on a bike with brand spanking new chrome plated hardware with the pretty flanges for 1/4 of the price of OEM.

I'm a big BikeBandit fan - 3 Chen Shin tires, still on $8 shipping. Plus, they have IPBs online.
I like DrATV a lot - they take PayPal and ship super fast.
My local Honda dealers aren't super close - I'm located between 2 dealers so it's like 20-30 minutes to either one. They are nice and seem competent (one even has a 200s on display but not for sale). However, I find I end up making 2 trips - one to find out they don't have the part then another to pick up what I order. So, I just order online and parts come to my door.
Used parts on Ebay or Craigslist.

Built my entire 250r from scratch with parts from e-bay! Expensive, yeah, but the machines are impossible to find here. Probably a few hundred orders from various people. Not ONE problem. Once you cruise e-bay you'll see it's the same guys that strip these things and part them out and they are all pretty good to deal with, again not one problem here...just make sure you check the feedback! :)

I've found that servicehonda.com typically beats bikebandits prices.
