View Full Version : Are all these pullstarts the same?

I just realized the pullstarter I had was from a 125, not a 110. It was black and round like the 81-83 110s (and also fitting the 84/85s, just not having that notch at the top corner)

But looking online, the 125 had the black honda label/'box' on the bars, the choke lever connected to a switch on the bars, and a different shape tank. Turns out that is what I have.

Everything looks to interchange with my 110 parts, but I want be sure before I sell the pullstart. I don't think it's any different from the 81-83 (and some other models) pullstarters.

Does this mean mine with fit:

81-83
Possibly the shorter ones - '79-80 110
atc125
atc90

?

Thanks

All ATC90 and 79-80 ATC110 interchange.
81+ ATC110 only fit 81+ ATC110
84-85 ATC125 only fit 84-85 ATC125
86+ 125s I have no clue - maybe other electric start verticals (200E/200M)?

^ WOW! Great info there!!!!

I think in the case of a 110CC,I read that there is a deep and shallow style..... I'm surprised that this isn't one of the "new" aftermarket parts available on EBAY....

Seems like allot of stuff is being remade, but not to the OEM specs! In some cases they work just fine though.... Small differences mean allot as far as fitment/quality and other "seemingly" small and insignificant changes.....................

I don't care for the 65-100$ repro carbs though............ Maybe it's just ME!! :D But these Keihins with different jets drive me crazy!

All ATC90 and 79-80 ATC110 interchange.
81+ ATC110 only fit 81+ ATC110
84-85 ATC125 only fit 84-85 ATC125
86+ 125s I have no clue - maybe other electric start verticals (200E/200M)?

Thanks for the info.

Turns out my trike was a 125. The pullstarter is the same depth and everything as the 84-85 110, but the rope leaves the case in a different location. I believe my machine was an 85 125, so that means it should fit 84/85 models.

Thanks for the info, glad I got it before selling!
