Blue rouge for polishing atv plastic

Has anyone tried this "Blue Rouge" a jewlers rouge for polishing plastic? I am ordering some of this and I'm going to give it a try,this should make polishing ATV fenders much easier on the last step of buffing. This is especially intended for the red fenders such as the 85 ATC350X passion red. I was told this will make them look like glass and will remove imperfections or light swirls. I will share with you my experience using the mothers aluminum polish on the tanks, and that was that while it did do a great job on the final polish, any deep scratches or gouges that were there, trapped the white polish and it made the tank REALLY ugly in those parts. I tried washing out with cleaners and tooth brushes, but never could get it all out. Maybe that stuff wont work in the same manner, but a red tank with little blue lines around on it might not be real attractive. Just test it on some old plastics first.

I can polish plastic to near perfection and is good enough I think. I am just tring to get a peeerrrrfect finish to NEW. I just did my tank, I started with 320 wet sand and worked my way down to 1500 wet sand. Then I used some brown roush? That I got in a polishing kit. The brown was intended for plastic. It worked awesome, and my tank took me about 2 hours. I'll post a pic later.

But roush on a polishing wheel works great!
