Has anybody ever used a silencer from a different application on there T-3 at all.The DG National is the only expansion pipe I can find currently, and they have no TYPE 11 silencers anymore according to DG.I have seen some postings on a company/persons called "JEMCO" or something to that who fabs pipes, but do they make silencers or do they ise a certain product with there pipes?

Have you looked at FMF Turbine Core 2 Universal silencer kits?

I used the FMF Turbine Core 2 on my Jemco expansion pipe! You we need some mods to the pipe, and you will need to tig weld brackets to hang it on the frame.

i used a fmf silencer from a 86 lt250r on a dg 86 pipe. you need to bend the inlet, and relocate the tab to bolt it to the frame. dg silencers are junk in my opinion.

I have not,can they be used on a DG National pipe? I have access to a tig so if the brackets have to be relocated it is not a problem.I have seen those for the 86-87 tecates-would you have a link by chance?

Could you post some pictures for me so I have a rough idea on the bends and tab mount locations?

here's a pic of one i bought
It comes with hanger and the extension connector pipe behind it, not just the silencer like in the picture of your link.
U must specify diameter like 1" , 1 1/8", 1 1/4"

You might want to specify what year T3 you have. The exhaust system could be completely different from one year to the next.
