Beadlock Questions?

Does the tire bead itself have to be inside the lip of the rim,, or does it just get clamped between the outer ring the the outside of the rim? Both mine leak so I'm not sure if I mounted them correctly or not.:wondering

Any of you guys use any kind of sealer or silicone? whats best?

the beadlocks work by clamping the tires bead all the way around with even pressure. make sure you have all the bolts torqued properly. are you sure the leak is coming from the bead? check it out witgh some 5% soap/95%water solution.

Does the bead stay on the outside of the rim or do I need to pry it inside first then clamp it.

anyone wanna buy these things? honda 4x110???? I also have an old schol set of prowedges on 84r rims I wanna get rid of. I need some space

the tire stays on the outside of the rim on the bead lock side and the plate just smashes it down. Did you dismount them since i switched them for you? All my beadlock wheels go flat after a couple days.

i'll trade you some stock 400ex wheels and cash for the beadlocks and i'll change them.
