Magnetic Drain Plugs, and valve question.

It seems like this has been covered before but I can't find it anywhere. Does somebody make a magnetic drain plug for a 81 185s? Or is there a way I can make my own?

I have set the valves on the 185s three times to make sure its right. Still seem to be really noisy on acceleration and when under load. Out of time causing detenation?

I actually put a broken speaker magnet on my tractors oil filter.
Very strong, cheap or free and curved.
maybe jam one between the frame and engine to hold metallic debris down at the bottom at least?

you could put a magnet in betwwen the plug, spring, and filter. that would get ALL shavings and would be easy to clean.

IF your shavings are ferrous! Some genius needs to come up with an aluminum magnet :D
