Hi everyone just bought a 110, have yet to pick it up but its missing a front fender, is a 90 interchangable with the 110 front fenders? found one close by for sale in pretty good nick?

Anyone repaired bent forks on these things? has been run into a fence apparently and bent the forks, will know more when I pick it up.

Cheers

i would say if the forks are bent you would have to get new ones. as far as the fender, i couldnt tell you. good luck with the new ride !!!

you could probably find both parts on ebay for very cheap, i have seen used forks for less than 25 bucks. as trikes get older you will learn that ebay will be your new best friend

Yes well got the trike on ebay too :) after being stuffed around by a local. Anyway I have family and friends who can weld/fabricate fix etc. The trike comes with new rings and headgasket so will be doing a rebuild on the little tacker and pretty much full restore, its a yellow one and can't say I like the color :( Found the fender on ebay as well might just pick it up and try it when I get the trike.

Yellow? That must be a mid-70's model then? Or did someone paint the plastics? If you've got acquaintances who can weld, they should have torches and you can bend the forks back. It would probably be easier/cleaner to just get some new ones though. At the same time, you can replace the stem bearings too. Post some pictures when you get it. The 90/110 is popular with a lot of people here and there's some pretty knowledgeable folks.

Yeah have been looking and found forks etc, all in USA so postage might be a killer but anyway, whatever it takes really. Also found replacement piston kits etc and the DRATV site, is a 56mm piston too big? issue's that can arrise? will need to be bored I guess by a workshop, can hone it if it needs just a light tidy up ourselves. Cam, carbie and exhaust will get tidied up/replaced, what size is the standard carbie 16mm?

I can get most the standard repair parts here in AU easily like bearings chain etc but the engine stuff seems limited.

I think its a 79, its been repainted I think as all the plastics are yellow and the tank etc.

you can bore to a 56mm, but its the max and be sure to have a professional shop do it, its a tad on the risky side. I have one myself and plan to build it this June.
