Hey guys, I am looking on ebay right now for rear axle bearings... cheap ones are $21 and allballs are $38... is there really a difference? Does anyone know of better prices? I also need swingarm bearings.

Well Matt, I thought it was worth the extra money to buy All Balls bearings from a dealer/member here (Dads).
But what i wanted mainly to say it is probably as good as time as any, since you have your machine apart, is to also put grease zirks in the pivot bolt and also the rear carrier.
If you have never drilled and tapped before, believe me it is NOT that hard.
I know since selling my X that i done that to, both owners really appreciate NOT having to take the rear end apart to grease up bearings.
You will need a carbide drill bit to drill "port" holes in the steel spacers both front and rear. The grease will need to flow out of the spacer to get to the bearings. I removed the inner sealing cover (totally useless POS anyway on both sides of any bearing IMO) to allow grease to flow into the bearings.
The swing arm bolt is hollow so i tapped both ends for zirks on both sides and drilled port holes in it and also the spacer there too.

it is incredible as to how much grease you can pump into the swing arm and rear carrier area's. Definitely more then one tube of grease.
