new slow jet and now not running?

1983 atc110. was running til last week, but only on full choke. put in a new slow jet and put all together, and now it wont start. what would cause this?? makes no sense to me. any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. thankyou.

will it fire with quickstart?
if all else fails, put the old one back in, run an E string from a guitar thru it .00800 or maybe a b string .0100

just make sure you can see thru that slow jet at least

if that works or at least runs like it did, then you are closer to your process of elimination
