Got back to working on the Big Red this afternoon.

I put the original ignition module back on. Electric start works! Starts and runs okay. One problem solved.

I put a bottle of slime in the left rear tire and rode it around for about 5 minutes...

Once it got warmed up, it started acting up again! When I romp on the throttle it sags and tries to quit. It starts hard, and won't idle. Choke or no choke, doesn't seem to make a difference.

Do I have a carb problem? Is my original ignition box flaky?

Check out the petcock, see if it might be plugged a little. Intake boots cracked?New plug?

You may want to check your valves. they could be out of adjustment.

silly, but the tank vent may not be working even if it on ON
