View Full Version : Bought new break pads.. Have a couple questions.

Ok. Ive never changed the breaks on a three wheeler before, and I just bought new brake pads.. I was wanting to know if anyone had something special I need to watch out for, or an easier trick.. Ive changed drums on a car, so it shouldnt be much different..

And when I went to the honda store today, I asked how much a starter was, and they have discontinued them.. So does anybody in the Tulsa Oklahoma area have a starter to an 85 bigred 250es? I dont have a credit card or paypal so I cant buy one on line.. And the powersports store here wants $125 for a rebuilt starter.. ANd I dont have that much money. Let me know if you could help me out.

Unless you find one real cheap, save the money till you can get it rebuild. You might find somewhere that can rebuild yours for cheaper than $125.

Yea.. Im hoping I can get it rebuilt somewhere for cheaper than $125.. For $125 I can kick start the 3 wheeler for a while.. It dont bother me to kick start it. It would just be nice to be able to use my eletric start.. Thanks for the info.
