With as hard as it is to find a tecate headlight bracket i thought i would take a shot at making one, i think it came out pretty good, what do you guys think? got about 25 bucks in materals and about 10 hours in trial fit and design.... i think i could get it down to a couple hours with a few jigs for bending the parts...
what do you think you would be willing to pay for one? im not looking to get rich but im not gona make them to lose money either...

Ya it's all mild steel, 1/2"tube for the center square, same as factory, then the rest is solid rod 1/4" and some 3/16... the bushings for the 4 mounts are wiper motor bushings about a buck a piece the headlight mounts in factory bushings....
thanks fellas, i'm gona start making jigs next week....

it took me awhile to get a memeber to let me borrow there headlight assembly. kinda hard to make one from just a picture!
you said you were gonna try to make one yourself anyways.. which you did. mine will be a bit different than yours and made out of aluminum.

No worrys buddy, you do a beautiful job with the pieces you make... i'm going to put a few together in the next couple weeks.... i may have enough parts to put together a couple complete headlight assemblys, i'd rather trade them for the few parts i need yet for my 87's restoration...
anybody out there with a NICE rear grab bar, manual holder, or factory muffler that needs a headlight let me know.....

Very nice,Scotty!! I like the "aftermarket" look of your headlite frames. OEM fit w/aftermarket style subtle changes.
I've seen Shawn's headlite frames too....also very nice work!
