Ill try to describe this to the best of my abilities. Any feedback of where to start with this is appreciated. We were trail riding today, everything was going good til we got to the mudbog. My son was driving, made it half way through and gently laid it over on the shifter side(only about 3/4 of the ways over, it was never completely on its side) When we tried to fire it back up the kicker was jammed wouldnt move at all. After a few attempts to kick it the kicker then had nothing on it, moved freely up and down. We towed it out to the road and got it home. Now the kickstarter is back to the stuck in the upright position and the piston moves up to top and down to the bottom of the stroke but wont make a full revolution. Could the kicker gear be jammed up inside?? The tranny is shifting freely. Any suggestions? Thanks J.B.:(

similar thing happened to me after a rebuild. i had a slight oil leak around my chain guard, so i tipped it up to take a better look. when i set it back on the floor, kicked it over and something snapped inside and kicker wouldnt come back up, engine siezed. turned out the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotr ailpro i paid to rebuild it forgot a C-clip on the outside of the lower gear which the cam chain runs around, the gear basicly tipped out at an angle when i tipped the trike up, and when i set it down the gear never sat back into place, so when i kicked it over it bent it in half and ruined my cam chain. if the c-clip was in place, the gear wouldnt have moved at all. this may not be your problem, but thats what happened to me with similar symptons.
