Are you trying to remove the stud? Heat and beat...

I wouldn't beat on it. I used a press to get mine out but a good size vise would probably work. Just put a socket slightly larger than the "head" of the stud against the back of the hub, put it in the vise and press the stud into the socket.

ditto, when I put wheel spacers on my spare 85 R I did this method with a 20 ton press. Worked great. I wouldnt beat on it either
