picked up this 185s tonight in daytona beach for a couple of hundred bucks. I thought it was a sweet deal! I was talking to the guy for a little about it. he said he had moved to florida from cali about 12 years ago and brought it from there. He tried to ride it on the beach in daytona and almost got arrested. he told me that he had parked it in the garage at that time and never touched it again. dang! I couldnt do that. I dont know, riding is in my blood.

Flip the tires around and run it as-is! I kind of like the mix-match of parts on there.

Im not cutting this one but I am robbing it for parts. tank and plastics/seat. selling the rest. I think parting it is worse than buiding a chopper out of it. if I chopped it at least someone would ride it.

I fired it up tonight and it runs like brand new. with a new carb of course. No ticking or weird sounds. I swear it doesnt have many hours on it. I'm probably gonna put the motor in mine. the original carb is full of gas shellac. When I cracked the bowl, maple syrup ran out and stained my driveway.(damnit)lol

Very Cal look. That actually answers questions for me. My 200 Custom frame is a 185S and so is the forks, tank, and engine I have for sale. That thing looks like it would be comfortable on the beach.
