Well i got tired of looking at it just sitting there frowning at me all year long while i ride my Yamaha's past it each time i go riding. So i pulled the old girl out tonight, and started tinkering. Replaced the coil, coil wire, spark plug, swore a bunch of times and threatened to burn it to the ground. That when it happened. Yes sir, after i threatened it for its life with a cherry can in one hand and a lighter in the other. She fired right up, and idled nicely. Valves tick like crazy. I spent the next two hours turning it on and off and on and off and on and off to see if it would lose spark. Never happened, took it for a short ride and it runs great now. Im gunna adjust the valves and clutch tomoro, tie up some other loose ends like some brakes (pretty harsh to find out when i was already moving, lol). Anyways, i was quite impressed, so i figured i would post it up. Seems threatening it work quite well for me. Have you guys tried that yet???
