ok my question has to do with the gas tank....am having problems getting gas to the carb...i took the gas line off the carb and turned it on will run for a couple of seconds the will make a gurgling sound and quit draining gas...but i can take the cap off and it runs out fine...so could the gas cap be bad if that actually can happen? doens't seem like the petcock would be bad...

the cap is not venting or the vent hose is blocked causing a vacuum.

i would say the cap is not venting cause i took the vent hose off and blew thru it and it's not clogged anywhere ...and i tried to drain the gas out when the vent house off and still does the same thing... so iam leaning towards the gas cap
