i rode through some water with my 200es and the diff oil was milky after wards. pulled the plug and let it drain over night. fill it up with some fresh oil and took it for a ride and it is yellow and not see through. does that mean its still contaminated or do they froth up yellow?> also how hard is it to rebuild the diff? my bearings are getting a bit worn

Your rear diff needs new seals. I am finishing rebuilding 2 units now. One for my trike and one to sell. I had the same problem of water getting in mine. Your gear oil should never discolor. You can keep flushing it with oil but you need to replace the seals if you want water to stay out.

any info on bearing kits? mine are getting a bit sloppy and how hard is this diff to replace bearings and seals on?
