I got an 85 tri-zinger a couple of weeks ago.I want to get rid of the oil pump.I found a block off plug on a site that sells PW50 parts.Just wondering what others have done to get rid of the oil pump?

I just left all of the parts on the trike including the tank and just pluged up the feed tube . My daughter has been running it like this for a couple years with no problems . Not sure if this is correct way to do it but it works .

I took the pump apart on mine, and put a bolt with a rubber washer in, and a nut on the backside... Then (because I am a bit anal retentive) I tack welded the nut to the bolt, and filled the cavity in with epoxy...

I was digging around on the net and saw a guy with a tri-zinger that used a block off plate for a pw50 yamaha dirtbike. Let me look for the link.
Found it. Its in the middle of the page

I'm going to get one for our tri-zinger.

DC,That's the site I found earlier.I'm probably going to order the plug. It's not too expensive.I just was looking for a clean looking option.
