Okay, I need a little help ID'ing a 4 wheeler. I know it's a Polaris 250. It is blue with a yellow seat. I matches the look of the Trail Blazer, but I do not know the year and I can not find a VIN or other tag on it. I need an ignition switch and manual for it so I need to ID it. I will try to post some pics when I get home. Somebody said he thinks it is maybe a 2000 model, not sure.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Okay, here are a couple of pics to help ID this thing. Previous owner sprayed it with rattle cans, that explains the white spots on it.

It is a Trailblazer but I cant tell you what year. Mine is a 2000. It is white with a yellow seat but the shock coils are red.

Okay, from searching around I think it is a 2001 or 2002 Trailblazer. I am needing to get a service manual and was trying to narrow it down. If anybody has any more ideas, please let me know.

the vin # should be on the frame, on the right side next where the exhaust wraps around. that where it was on the 2 polaris's I've had
The VIN should be on the frame rail under the clutch cover, or between the a-arm mounts..Or in that area, they liked to move them around a bit..

Thanks guys! I will check these locations when I get to it. Rob, that VIN decode is cool, it nailed my car.

Okay, no luck with a VIN... anywhere.
Oldsckool83, if they are all the same, I can assume a carb from say a 1998 is the same as on a 2004? Clutches are the same? brakes? In other words, when I order my parts, I can make up a year? That would make things pretty easy and I do not need to worry about it. I would like to find a service manual though that would help me when I need it.

that would be the case...i just did a google image search, from the color scheem its a either 2000 2001. find the vin on the motor and have a dealer check it but your safe. i dont think they made them in 98, but i could be wrong. check bikebandit.com and cross ref the parts to see if they are the same. thats all i do when i buy a toy.

I found a document online that says VIN should be stamped into the frame near the left front tire.

Well, I pulled the clutch cover and on the side of the clutch is stamped: 03/11/02.
Would it be safe to assume this is a 2002 or possibly a 2003? I guess the real important thing here is I need a carb kit. When I look online, I find a few different kits for different years. I have the carb off now and there are no part numbers on it. The only markings are:
MIC
25F and stamped on the side
14D
Any help?

SOLVED! It is a 2002. Found the VIN behind some paint hiding it totally. Thanks for the help.
