People seem to swear by this stuff? Never owned a 2 stroke and might be getting one once I finally get taxes back. I know asking "what's the best oil?" Is kind of like asking whats the best pizza because everyone will have a different opinion but Klotz seems to be real popular and isn't the highest grade made of Castor bean oil?

Your right about the opinions........ Truth is, there are many great oils out there. If you choose Klots Super Techniplate you will have a great oil with a great scent trailing you wherever you go. Personally, i've never had an engine related failure due to the type of oil i mixed.

BIG fan of Klotz Super Techniplate . If I didn't have it to swear by, I'd be using Klotz R50.

You'll get many different opinions, but nothing other than Klotz for me.

I run techniplate in the winter and benoil in the summer. If you like the smell of techniplate, try benoil...Its 10x as smelly...mmmmmmmmm. I run it in all my saws too and can pump upwards of 2 gallons a day through them and have never had a problem. Just dont use benoil below freezing, it gells.

Once the Benoil is mixed with gas it won't gell right? Only when used in an oil injection system right?

No, it will seperate from the fuel. You can see it in the can once it gets cold. It will almost appear milky.

As long as you go with a reputable oil that you know others use and have had success then I am sure you will be safe. I use Castor 927... maybe stay away from those tiny pre mix bottles for weed wackers lol
