Commuter 340

Hello guys,

I relly need help for an old threewheeller ... It seems to be a COMMUTER 340 and I don't know what is it ... So my "transmission" is broken and I need to repair/replace it and I can't find any part on the web ... On the Transmission/clutch its written "COMET 211982" ... Does someone knows where I can find parts to repair my very old threeweeler ... ???

Comet Clutches is a very big company and they are still very much so in business. They make snowmobile style clutches which is what you have on that trike. Just search them on the web and you will find their site. Good luck!

I am also from Quebec.
You should check with a John Deer dealer. They used the same Kawasaki industrial engine (340cc) in their 5 wheelers AMT.
Here's some pics of mine.
If you don't find anything,tell me because i have the parts manuel that came with that tkike.

Wouin, le miens est pas mal moins propre que le tiens ... En fait, moi est un Cusstom ... Un derriere de Commander340 avec un devant de 4 roue !!! Donc mon 3 roue est en réalité un 4 roue, mais le cul est pareil comme le tiens !!!
Donc, tu pense qu'un vendeur de John Deere pourrait m'aider ?? Toi, ta transmission, c'est une Comet aussi ??? T'as pas de pièces de lousse par hasard ?? :)

non je n'ai aucune pièces de rechange excepté un couroie de spair. J'ai vu des 5 roues John Deere avec le même moteur et la même transmission. Je ne sais pas si ma clutch est un Comet car je n'ai jamais démanché le couvercle. Si tu ne trouves pas ce que tu cherches, dis le moi car j'ai le manuel de pieces qui venait avec le trois roues. I just told him , in french, where he should be looking to get the parts he need to fix his trike. He told me also that his trike has been modified into a quad. The engine on those trikes are Kawasaki 340 industriel, same used on John Deer AMT 5 weelers.
