I just got a carb kit for my 200s and my atc70. Ive never rebuild a carb before so im a little scared lol. Im pretty mechanically inclined but was just wandering how hard they are to do and how long it should take me to do each one? I also noticed it seemed like the kit for the 70 had more parts than the 200 whats that about?

if youre mechanically inclined then it'll be no prob. just be real careful when you take it apart and if youre gonna use compressed air then be careful with that too. i was a little tenative at first too, but its not bad at all.

it may help to get a manual with some carb diagrams in it to reference by, im sure something can be found online. but yeah it wont be hard at all, one thing i have learned is dont start something then leave and comeback later to finish it when its your first time. makes it hard to remember what goes where and stuff.

get one of the carb cleaner buckets with the screen/pail inside they are awsome. Take out every thing on that carb and put it all except the rubbers into the cleaner and let it soak . You can usually just wipe the varnish and gunk off after that .. as far as time ? This is your first time and if you let the parts soak for a hour i would say you could do 1 carb in 3 hours if it is real dirty

ive noticed some carb kits come with the floats and some do not, if everything else is replaced why not the float or am i just overlooking something obvious ?
