trx450r muffler on 350x

Well I have been away for awile. I finally dug my 350x out of the barn to install the 450r muffler thats been sitting in the basement for a year. Logged into 3 wheeler world and everything has changed. Now I can't find all the info on it. I am having a problem getting the muffler around the brake resevoir and the metal tab that gets bent around the resevoir hose. If somebody could point me in the direction of all the info that was once here , I might be able to finish this project tomorrow. Any pics would be a big help also.

They are NOT a perfect fit. I cut off the stock tab on the right frame downtube for mine and built a midpipe half from a 450R and half from a 350X - ended up with 2 nice clamps :)

I offered the whole setup for 80$ with the HRC tip (BIG HOLE that was 35$ alone) which required and appreciated a larger main jet and holes in your air box lid and no one wanted it.

Regardless, the Supertrapp is the way to go and mounts to the upper shock mount so the tab I chopped off was useless anyhow...........
