got myself a 350x!

hey guys, some of u guys know me from the otc and i was at malvern for the season opener and found out that my lttle 200x just didnt stand a chance. and i know that 250rs are better mxer's but i just like the way a 4 stroke handles in a trike. so when i got home i set out to find a 350x. well i found one. shes not pretty and shes not in one piece. but i plan to take my time and build this one right and build it to haul. so without more talking here are a few pics of my new 350x.

the bike actually came with 2 350 engines. so one i kept for the trike and the other imidiatly landed in the frame of my freinds 300ex.

sometimes its better to get them like that.then youll have to go through everything on it.when its all done and back together,you will have a great machine.

that is the extra engine that the 350 came with that my freind bought off me for his 300ex w/ a built 350 engine build.

and i payed 400 for the whole lot and my freind gave me 50 bucks for the spare engine. so i have 350 into it and its essentailly a whole bike just not put together. and i was actually there looking at a complete 350 he had for sale but ended up buying this whitch was actually a parts bike. because if i had baought the complete bike i was gonna tear it down and rebuild it all the way anyway. so with this i saved alot of money and got a head start on my mx'er 350 build.

im workin on it lol. first thing its doin is getting a real good bath then goin over to a guy from works house to get all guesseted up to handle the airtime shes gonna get. i should have it together in time to race at somepoint this year but it may have a 300ex engine in it for a little while so i can get the 350 engine straitened out and good to go.

will do, i figure ill just keep adding stuff to this threat as she begins to take form. and i did get to take a stock running 350 for a spin and i think with what i have in mind for this build the big girl is gonna be hangin with those 2 smokers pretty good once the gate drops.

cant wait to see it when its done ! i got a buddy with an 86 350x and i tried trading him my 1990 gmc shortbox pickup with some aftermarket goodies on it but he just wont come off the 350x i really want one after riding his, thats one bad mamma jamma trike good luck on your build !

hey guys, well i started looking into some of the parts i have and it looks like my first order of buisness is gonna be a new rear axel cuz this one was hammerd out with a BIG hammer. also all the hardeware is prettymuch toast. so if any of you guys could point me in the right direction to find a new rear axel preferably extended and somewere to get all new hardware that would really help get this project rolling(literally) haha

well i assembled all the parts that i could today just to see what i had a didnt have. so far the only thing keeping me from having a semi roller is a swingarm bolt(i have a 200x one in there now just for mock up) and a rear axel because mine it all boogered up. i want to get an extend one anyway tho, just dont know if my budget will allow one. but heres a few pics of all the parts somewhat in one place lol. and i placed the rear tires about were i want them to be if not slightly wider.

first o took the pressure washer too it to remove this..whitch was covering most of the frame

hey guys, i tore down the top end and found the connecting rod to look like this. is this normal in a 350 or am i gonna have to split the cases and get the whole crank and all redone?
