Let me get out my checkbook! I really wonder sometimes. We all love three-wheelers, but these scum that just strip trikes for profit & try to take advantage of the availability........people still get lynched in Montana.

I understand what you're sayin' SeaBass, but to charge someone that kind of money? What I'm sayin' is a fella who makes a livin' restoring trikes etc., and to Highball a part? I wonder if who is selling the frame enjoys 3-wheelers, or is just a profiteer preying on folks keeping a part of cycle history alive. Folks involved in three wheelers help each other out from what little I've seen, this just seems more 'taking advantage.'

Honestly to me the only person that part is going to appeal to is the hardcore restoration expert or a collector. Everyone else will use a pre-existing frame, strip it and powdercoat it and be done for 1/4 of the price. For the market that part is targetting, it seems a bit high, but not THAT out of bounds. We're in a world where NOS fenders and plastics go for thousands. Anything that is new old stock automatically means big money IMO.

No, definately not a new $100 frame...that's just the market for used and abused frames on e gay. I was amazed yet weary of the "nos" frame. If it's truely nos, that's cool, but a little pricey I'd say. Maybe someone REALLY wants it for that.
