i tried to take the best pictures. where the bolt was like half of the "nut" is cracked off so i can't just put a new one in

looks like ya snapped off a stud. you can drill them out and thread a screw in. i'd take it out and let a machine shop fix ya up.

This seems pretty common. I have 2 or 3 heads with broken off exhaust studs

i had the exact same thing on mine so i put a different head on it

wouldnt have hurt to have cleaned some of the mud off so you can see what you got going on there.!!

my studs broke and i just put a bolt in its place...

a 1/4 bolt will hold for a while

Ive been replacing studs on bikes now when i get them with new ones, i figure $10 is worth it, the old ones are always rusted up and i dont trust it.

take it to a machine shop and have them fix the heads, it wont cost much, they can easly do that. ive had nay broken bolts in heads fix for only a few bucks.
