have a honda big red wasnt runing took it into shop as didnt have time to look into it they cleaned carb it ran for acouple of rides than started runing rough and couldnt get started took carb of to clean and was wondering if slow jet should be turned in all the way or backed of a certain amont of revolutions it was back some didnt know if that was right or not as main jet was screwed all the way in ?

The main jet should be all the way in. Stock setting for pilot jet is 1 7/8 - 2 turns out. Thats on my 82 200 non- big red, not sure if it will be the same.

Thanks for the reply now is that the one inside the bowl that they call the slow jet or the one at the bottom on the outside that they call the pilot screw ?

main jets in the bowl, pilot jets on the out side.

probably crap in your tank. install a pre filter

Main and pilot/slow jet are inside the bowl. The main is either a hex shape or round, not sure which on the 200e. The pilot will be long and skinny.

its the slow jet I was wondering about should it be turned all the way tight or is it also to be one and seven eights out as well as the pilot screw.I had the tank off dumped gas ,tank is actualy real clean cleaned screen/ filter fresh fuel not even a pop
