Picked this gem up for $600 in excellent running condition with some spare parts but it needed some love. Appears to be lowered 2 inches and have a +4" Durablue rear axle.

Frame was completely fubar'ed around the swinger mounts, ended up welding in 1/4" plate so that it didn't whomp out again. Stuck some brakes on both ends and cleaned it up. My buddies' '85 350 walks away from it, so what's the best modifications to get after so that I'm not embarassed again.

First and foremost would be to make sure you have a good oil and filter change and make sure the trike has a proper tune up. Fresh plug, set timing and valve lash, make sure clutch is adjusted properly as well as decompression cable. Make sure all wheel bearings are nice and smooth and not hanging up and make sure your chain is in good shape and well lubricated and not hanging up. I would seriously think of changing out those heavy rear tires for something a little smaller and lighter, 18" or 20" depending on where you ride, that should help some. Exhaust and Air filter will help alot, but expect to rejet your carb, which can be a pain sometimes. A slightly hotter cam can also help.

+1 on dumping the rear tractor tires if they're as heavy as they look.
My boy's 350X (check my signature) runs pretty strong for being as mild as it is. Also, 22" Razors and a 14-tooth front sprocket has it cruising along at a decent velocity.
The cam is Web's bolt in (.350 lift) cam, but I could immediately tell a difference in power over the worn stocker.

Oh, good point. I also did wheel and swingarm bearings are fresh. It has a Moose Racing mutiple element filter and new plug, 13 tooth front sprocket. Decompression cable and clutch cables work flawlessly. This thing is fast (60ish), but my buddies 85 350 walks all over it. I'm going to re-jet, thinking of going with full cobra exhaust (need something with spark arrestor) Going to jump the rear sprocket up a few teeth, as I have a brand new yet uncounted tooth sprocket(came with trike, bigger than stock thats on it). Looking for ITP Holeshots or Maxxis Razrs in 20" flavor or so.
No stranger or newbie to toys and motors, been a mechanic and a gearhead for the last 10 years. Just unfamiliar with performance applications for these 3 wheeled terrors.
Whats the cost on the cam upgrade?

The cam itself was $130-ish since I sent my stock cam(core) in at the time I ordered it, but I wouldn't match the new cam up with used/worn rocker arms. You can either pick up hardfaced rockers for $130 (again...send in originals for core), or what i did with this cam is just buy new Honda parts for a few dollars less.

Right on, will look into that option! Thanks!

I would avoid a cobra pipe... Loud junk IMO... Hated the one I had on my 350X...

Are you trying to get more top speed?
If so, why would you put a bigger rear sprocket on it?
Larger rear= less top speed
Smaller rear= more top speed
Tell me if im wrong but that's how i've always thought it was.
Dammit!

Bigger front sprocket = Higher top speed
Smaller front sprocket = Lower top speed
Bigger rear sprocket = less top speed
Smaller rear sprocket = more top speed
Bigger rear tires = more top speed
Smaller rear tires = less top speed
All of the changes that get you more top speed come at the expense of less bottom end/torque.
