Fork boots

will fork boots off an 85 250r fit an 86 200X ? there are no dimensions in the sellers item description on ebay. or if not what will fit , does anybody know ?should i order them and hope for the best , they r listed under atc 200X so i would think they will fit but dont want to get burned.

they seem to be the same when ordering, completely interchangeable. anyone agree about this?

The 1985-86 ATC250R fork boots are just a little bit larger in diamiter than the 1986-87 ATC200X boots and look a little different also. Every once in a while a nos set for the 200X will appear on eBay,they are hard to find . I have asked this question before on here and this is pretty much the answer I got, you may want a second opinion.

thanks well i ordered them already so i hope they fit ill post how they work out.

They don't fit. Diameter too big by about .25". The 350X ones fit the diameter perfectly but are longer so they will be more compressed looking on the bike without weight on them.

just as long as they are a tad to big it will work, you could always get matching color rubber bands to take up that .25" slack at the ends

crapola oh well ill make them work , ordered them from ebay , description said fits 250r 200x and 350x?

Silver hose clamps will get the job done just fine.
