Hi guys I just bought a complete LRD/ESR motor for my 250r. I just have a few questions. Should I be running a 38mm carb on this motor or will the stock one be fine? the 38mm part, how is it measured? Slide diameter? Will a fmf fatty pipe be a good pipe choice for this motor?
Thanks.
Matt.

Order the PIPE set up & Carb From them !
Call them and ask ...
To get the most out of that motor I highly recommend a 38mm carb. The fmf pipe will work just fine.

ESR has sent me a couple 38mm Air Stryker carbs in the past that were jetted very close right out of the box. I put both of those on 250cc stock ported cylinders and noticed a nice improvement, so I definitely wouldn't choke down a ported 330 with a stock carb.

Thanks guys. Looks like a 38mm it is. I cant wait to stuff this motor into my bike. It should be stupid fast. I thought the old stock 250 motor went good. I dont think I know what im in for. Wooo Hoooo.

If you bought the cylinder and carb from them, they should be able to give you a good deal on the atc 5 pipe and silencer which is awesome imo
