hey im trading my 91 honda accord today for a 1984 250r all it needs is a front brake setup. besides the disk. just wondering about how fast it tops out at how hard it is to work on and some tips about them thanks-billy

They are REALLY easy to work on. Parts arent as plentiful as the 85-86 liquid cooled 250R, but are still available. One good thing about the 84 250R is that you can use the motor from a 81,82,83,84 250R, they are all air cooled. The shift shaft is different in the 81-82 motor, but can be swapped out. I think the 84 250R would top out around 70mph. You can always change the gearing (sprockets) to get more top speed, or faster acceleration, and put bigger/smaller tires on the rear to get more.
