I have an older cobra taper cone muffler with about a 12" long baffle on my 200x with NO packing and it sound great till about 4 grand and then it has a raspy snap to it and Pappi was finally had enough! I would like it to sound the same at lower RPMs but i want the snap out of it at higher RPMs. Any ideas on where and how much packing and what kind to put in?
Before it was all burnt out with only about an inch long of packing at the back and it was to quiet!
