This is my 84 250r that i just bought. starts first kick every time and is in decent condition overall. It needs new tires for the gold rims the previous owner put 25 inch tires and steel rims on it. Im new to 2 strokes so any tips or thing to look for would be appreciated. The first 2 pics are before i washed it. thanks

Make sure you mix your gas with pre-mix, keep your air filter clean, and you should be good to go. Looks good. I'm not implying anything by telling you the basics. You'd be amazed how many 2 strokes die an untimely death due to straight gas. Best of all.. Have fun.

Well as stated mix your fuel correctly or you'll be sorry. Also the tp remind me of when I gave my uncle one of my 185's and he rode the hell out of it. I looked at his front tire once and it had a crack and split and it was still holding air... or as I thought. I tryed to air it down and it was out of air already. The hardness of those tires is just to funny. Congrats on your new R :)

thanks for the comments. i was thinking 18 or 20 inch tires on the gold rims would make it look right. what should ratio should i mix the fuel at? i was gonna go with 32:1 with synthetic oil but would like your input. thanks
