So I think this site is really great, my friends and I are pretty stoked to find people who love trikes as much as we do. I have a YTM 125 that runs awesome but I have a couple questions. I want to change the handlebars and I was wondering what size they were. Also, I would like to get some new tires that would work good for some racing/ messing around. I was thinking I'd like to go a little bit smaller like maybe a 20 by 11 by 8 or maybe a little smaller. I know I would lose a little top end, but the final gear seems a little tall anyways. I am also wondering about some wheel spacers to widen the back end a little for some stability. Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated, keep up the awesome work on this awesome site. -=Andy=-

I switched from 22x11x8 to 20x11x8 on a 200x. Made a great differance. I also got new rims that had a different offset to widen the rear a little, also made a nice change.

any ATV handle bar will work. some are extra thick in the middle so they can flex more but you will see those advertised and very expensive so its not like you will accidentally buy them. any basic atv handlebar should work.

a smaller race type tire i love are the Maxxis Razr. in my experience its a good tire, but you might want something with less bight since its only a 125, that way you can get the rear to slide around a bit easier.

spacers are great,i run 3 inch on my 185s and my 250r works great.you should want 20in tires or maybe 18's,for real torque.

There are basically 2 sizes of handlebar. All of the 3 wheeler handlebars (except the tri-zinger and a couple others) and most dirtbike handlebars are 7/8" bars. Fat Bars are 1 1/8" at the clamp, and require larger clamps. The majority of bars are the 7/8" bars. Wheel spacers would be great for adding extra stability as well as making it look better. Your bolt pattern is 3/100 for the rear wheels. Any lower profile tire will help your ability to slide, the spacers will help even more.
