I occasionally see these threads but never a definitive answer.
Is there any place to get replacement seat foam? I have a few seats that need covered, but missing a few chunks. Don't want to cover them unless they're smooth.
Thanks

One is a 250es, others are: 185S, 2x 200s, I believe that's all for now. Do the eBay ones or Moshmans work fairly well? Meaning will it come out looking new with a new cover/marine grade vinyl?

moshmans sell hi flite foam, you can order it from them or from hi flites web site. its a plusher ride then oem honda foam i will say that.
why dont you just go to their websites and order a new cover and foam, send them your seat pan and get an OEM looking seat back that will last the next 25 years haha.

Mostly because it seems like a waste to get rid of seat foam that is 90% there. And by plusher, I don't know if you mean too soft to use or if it will leave 'imprints' in it?
I almost want to sacrifice one seat to use the foam to complete the rest, then a piece of masking tape, then cover it and I'd expect it to be good.

well if you have access to an upholstery shop, they can patch the foam for you. but i take all of my seats to a guy down the road from me and he does great work. all new foam and a new marine vinyl seat cover for a 1993 xr 100 was $50 and it took him 2 hours to do. and he patched the foam on my 200 and put a new seat cover on for 25$. it was well worth it in my opinion. he gives me a discount on all my seats because i go to school with his kid and we know each other very well. i could have him do your seats if you would like. thy turn out excellent in my opinion. hold on i will take some pics and post then in a minute.

ok here are the pics. he even sowed the stitch in the back of the 200 seat to make it look as close to OE as possible
