Looking for some feed back. Tomorrow i'm going to look at a 350x. From the pictures i did see of it, it looks to decent. The guy wants $1300. It was missing one gas tank shroud, but the plastics and the rest of the 3wheeler is original. It was ridden so it's not mint. My question is without seeing it for your selves. Is $1300 a reasonable price?

I paid less then that for my all original and in good condition 350x....If the plastics are in good shape (no cracks, scratches, etc) and the mudflap is there then it could be worth that, how does it run?

Hard to say without pictures. The real test is looking at it in person. Pictures hide things you need to look for on the trike itself.Being a 350X look for cracks in the frame. Check for damage around the countershaft sprocket. Check the air filter. If it's filthy it probably wasn't taken very good care of. Pull the dipstick, look at the color of the oil. Smell it.. does it smell burnt. Grab the grab bar and rock the bike back and forth to see if the carrier bearings are bad. Check the rotors and pads. Look at the area around the drain plug to see if it's leaking or been cracked due to tightening instead of loosening the plug. Defects give you the ability to bargain down the price some.

He says it always starts and hasn't had any issues. It wasn't a very clear picture that i was shown or did i have any close ups of the motor and other stuff. The mud flat was intact though and stock exhaust.
i like reading reading some of the cheap 3 wheeler scores many of the Mid west guys get compared to us Jersey people. It's very hard to score toys like this cheap. Every listing on ebay or craigslist on a 350x here range from $1700rough to $3800 mint. The problem is many haven't sold in months so that's why i'm asking.
It maybe to high is what i'm thinking.

Dcreel,
Yeah your right about pic's. It should be a rule if you post something for sale take awesome pic's.
All the things you mentioned i would check. I would have missed the (looks for cracks in frame) part. I never think of that.
It's about an hour away from me in PA so i may go up. $1300 is a lot of cash for the amount i will ride it.

This was my $450 score. 2 200x's an 84 and 85 bone stock. These are worse than the 350x. These didn't run when i picked them up. incl was a parts 200x. Restore is in progress the last few weeks on the 85. Hope to be riding the 85 this weekend.

A $1300 is like i want it, but it's a little high priced. Plus i'm now addicted to 3 wheelers again.
